PIERRE BOURQUE PARTS WAYS WITH FITZ MOTORSPORTS
Canadian driver Pierre Bourque has parted ways with the Fitz Motorsports team.  Bourque drove one NASCAR Busch East Series event for the team this season at Iowa Speedway with plans of teaming up for more events in Busch East and the NASCAR Busch Series this year.

“We have decided to go our separate ways,” said Bourque.  “I’m happy and relieved to be moving on.  There are some exciting things in the works and I will be making related announcements shortly.”

Although his NASCAR Busch East Series season has been abbreviated so far, Bourque has been keeping busy in other forms of racing.  He made his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut for Andy Hillenburg’s Fast Track Racing team at Indianapolis’ O’Reilly Raceway Park last month and has been a semi-regular in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, driving for Whitlock Motorsports.  Bourque competed in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series event in Montreal this past weekend and logged a 12th-place finish.
